Guitar Blood

I'm trying to learn the guitar. Today's lesson from the Internet was how to restring the guitar. What they don't tell you is that you should wear defensive layers to protect your fingers from the guitar when the strings attack. The ends of the strings have a tendancy to make a very good puncture wound in one's fingers.

  1. What we learned on Awakenings was to always have a spair set of strings... I forget exactly which string it was (part of me wants to say G, but I really couldn't swear to it), but my friend Dan Mohan broke the same string two years in a row (or at least, our guitar players did, at least one year it was Dan)... including the first year during circling, when we just keep playing "Come Fill This Temple", and can't really stop to restring :)
